Wii online

And there she goes, Capt'n

Hooked up Wii back online, which is dinda of a hassle when ZON fails to deliver a reliable customer service , mainly because, in my humble opinion, they are more interested on selling their wireless kits than setting up reliable ZonModem to Routers configurations and help pages, but I digress...

After some time I've nailed, hooked up the PC, the Wii, found out that NDS only supports WEP instead of WAP/WAP2 security measures - major letdown, will have to re-configure all of the wireless just to hook up with the DS online :/

Now that the Wii is online I've tried Pro Evolution 08 and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 online.

Dragon Ball turned out to be a major let down. While the single player is a super fluid game, filled with brillant colours and nice glowing effects on the chars, the online is a stuttering, eye tearing, choppy and, as you can imagine by now, horrible experience. One thing is lag provoking stress pauses on the screen, while you find yourself wondering "What the hell is going on?!?", other is watching youtube video buffering on your screen, while one tries to emulate a slow "Kamehameha", shouting and all that, to no success. Luckily the power off button still works on the Wii. "Praise the Lord!"

Pro Evolution Soccer 08. To sum it up quickly: Great experience. Played a 10 minute match, it wasn't difficult to set up a game, it was lag free, except on a minor 1 second hiccup, the game is brilliant, the control scheme is a must play for every "Wii is for kids" that exists outhere, I ...lost 0-5, not so good that part, i really can't score on Pro Evo, be it on PC or now on Wii.. Buy this game, play it online!

I'm off to play a little bit more online,
Catch you online! in Wii, however odd that may sound!

Yeah, DBZ3 is plagued by lag online. There was even a super DBZ fan who started a petiotion for it to be fixed! http://www.petitiononline.com/twgatari/petition.html

I woulnd't get my hopes up, but doesnt hurt to sign it i suppose :)
From what I hear Smash Brothers is almos unplayable online too, whta a shame... For a flawless online wii experience try Mario Kart ;)

plagued... you have to see it to believe it mate! When you get back to OPorto, you'll have a chance to experience it with your own eyes and testify on how horrific that gameplay can become..

On the other side, PES is a flawless game. Considering that you can buy this masterpiece by 11-13£, its a SIN! not to have this baby on your shelf.

will have to buy, eventually mario kart wii. been practicing a little bit on mario kart ds, but, as of now, my eyes are glued to Hotel Dusk and Professor Leyton.

what are you playing right now? work? really hope not;)
